Since childhood, Taylor Rummel has had an interest in writing and music. In 2013, he began writing for a music blog, Hillydilly—an experience that would lead to multiple internships and kickstart a career in the music industry. After ten years across a variety of roles, including as a curator and senior manager at Universal Music Group, he has added nonprofit work to his repertoire, serving as a volunteer grant writer for a Michigan music nonprofit. Currently, he helps guide artists while building connectedness and community in the industry, and he incessantly listens to new music—and builds playlists—all the while.
